In the era of virtual solutions and universal access to the Internet, there are more and more DDoS attacks. The client bears the cost of protecting against DDoS attacks, which may exceed the value of the services under attack many times over. HAWE Telekom meets this need. HAWE Telekom offers protection against DDoS attacks using the HAWE Anti-DDoS platform for the Internet access service provided by HAWE Telekom. The service consists in automatic analysis and filtering of client traffic using the dedicated HAWE Anti-DDoS platform. The proposed tool is a combination of solutions for detecting DDoS attacks and high-performance backbone devices that allow the interception and dispersion of malicious traffic as far as possible from the client's devices. The whole process is automated without human intervention. If the system recognizes an attack, it will generate and send appropriate blocking rules to all transmission devices aggregating traffic directed to the client.
